maker.com is an interesting software for creating slide shows in
flash format (.swf format). A perfect alternative to Microsoft Photostory and with some advantages as well. The software offers more or less the same features as Photostory
but is more compatible. Except the 'Theme' features, rest all are available in the free version. Some of the
features are
Transition, Adding Music, Settings, Adding Text on Photo. One suggestion - while applying settings or transition, first select all the photos and then apply them. A good handy tool.
